Automatic Sales Tracking based on Customer Actions

One simple step that we've made - ability to invite customer to the CRM application and share with him key sales information (price quote, draft agreements etc.) can help us track and interpret customer behavior. This allows us to automatically change pipeline states - and therefore provide live funnel & sales pipeline tracking.

In our case the following actions are translated into pipeline auto-change:
Deal sharing - Unqualified Lead -> Qualified Lead
Price Quote sharing - Qualified lead -> Proposal Evaluation
Agreement sharing - Proposal Evaluation -> Negotiations

This way company management has always up-to-date live report of the pipeline based on actual customer actions - not sales team "hunch".

This functionality will be available with the next release of our software.
